Why should I Go to A Bible Study Group?
You need a place where everybody knows your name! We love for people to attend worship services, but a Bible Study Group is where close relationships are formed. True learning requires understanding, interaction and application. Our Bible Study Groups offer an understanding of what God's Word says, interaction with others and application for you in your life.
What Do You Do In These Groups?
Bible Study Groups meet to examine a portion of Scripture and discover its application for daily life. Each group is led by a teacher and class officers who seek to build growing vital relationships:
between the class members
between each class member and God
between class members and the church
What If I Don't Know Anything About
The Bible?
You don't have to! You don't have to read anything aloud, find any verses or quote anything if you don't feel comfortable doing so.
What Time Do the Bible Study Groups
Start and How Long Do they Last?
Our Bible Study Groups for all ages meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am and 10:30am. They start with around 15 minutes of social time, and then about an hour of study.
What Do I Do With My Children?
They have Bible Study/Sunday School Classes too! Remember that the Bible Study Groups at First Baptist Church are for newborns on up. Some of our most active Bible Study Groups are those in the Senior Adult age groups!! Our Welcome Center has a list of all the classes, the ages of those that attend and the room number of that class.
How Do I Find A Class?
Stop by our Welcome Center on Sunday morning. Our greeters will be happy to escort you to a class.
