Treasured weekend
We are partnering with SuperStart and Christ in Youth to bring you Treasured. SuperStart is a weekend event produced by Christ In Youth, an organization that has been putting together age-intentional events all over the world for the last 50 years. (You can check out their website at: SuperStart is a two-day interactive program designed specifically for fourth, fifth and sixth grade students. The weekend engages the growing minds and hearts of preteens to teach them more about themselves and the Bible.
The goal for Treasured Weekend is for preteens to learn that their true value and worth is found in God who treasures them. Our main teaching verse is found in Deuteronomy 26:18. As part of the teaching, preteens will hear a gospel presentation and be given a practical challenge to serve Jesus as a Kingdom worker. The weekend includes Amp Up, Worship, Drama, Games, Small Group Time, meals, and concludes with a bonfire, hotdogs and s'mores.
