When does AWANA meet?
Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
What club is my child in?
Puggles: 2 year olds (by March 1st, 2019)
Cubbies: 3-4 year olds (by September 1st, 2019)
Sparks: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Truth and Training (T&T): 3rd - 6th Grade
1st child - $60
2nd child - $50
3rd child and any additional - $40
There is a $60 enrollment fee per child for the entire school year (per family: $50 for the 2nd child, $40 for the 3rd child and each additional child beyond that). The church underwrites the AWANA Club in significant ways, and the fee mentioned above helps cover only a part of the expense of the club. All handbooks and vests/uniforms are received at the registration meeting. If there is a financial difficulty, contact the AWANA Program Coordinator at 813-752-4104 ext 1011. A payment schedule may be arranged or a scholarship may be joyfully provided to First Baptist Church members in extreme circumstances.
AWANA Volunteers - You must register your children in person to receive a $30 per child enrollment fee.
Can I volunteer?
Yes!!! AWANA is run by volunteers, and many willing adults are needed. Volunteers help with games, listen to children recite Bible verses, lead the songs and drama, help with set up and clean up, substitute, pray or assist with special events.
